Located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Sante Fe Community College is a public two-year comprehensive community college established in 1983. The college sits on a 366-acre campus 12 miles outside of the city center. Sante Fe Community College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Currently, enrollment averages around 6,400 undergraduate students.

Students at Santa Fe Community College have a variety of options as far as getting academic advising is concerned. Advisers at the Welcome and Advising Center are available to assist new students, especially in choosing their degree and mapping their educational path. Counselors are also available for graduation requirements, goal-setting, and other academic concerns, as well as confidential professional counseling appointments for personal situations. Faculty members are also on hand to help with concerns specific to the student's academic area.
SFCC Career Services exists to assist students in exploring the various career options available to them, and how they can reach their career goals through appropriate educational tools and experience. Career Development Facilitators help students in assessing their personal and economic needs, visualize their goals, and plan a successful career. Training is provided in different aspects of the career preparation process, such as writing an effective resume, self-marketing skills and job search techniques, and networking with prospective employers.
When students at Sante Fe Community College are not attending class, a variety of recreational activities are offered on campus. The William C. Witter Fitness Center is a 124,000-square-foot facility with state-of-the-art amenities, including a 3 court gymnasium, overhead indoor running track, resistance training center, suspension training area, tennis courts, an 8-lane lap pool, 4-lane warm pool, whirlpool, and other features. Different fitness classes, fitness assessments, and nutrition information are also offered.
Students needing additional academic support can head over to the Tutoring Center. The Center offers a safe, friendly environment where students can develop good study habits and enhance their learning experience. Tutorial services are offered by appointment or drop-in, and subjects covered include Math, English, Writing, Office Technologies, Accounting, Chemistry, Physics, and other areas.
The SFCC Library combines both physical and online resources and tools to help with student learning success. The Library has a collection of over 60,000 books, paper periodicals, CDs, DVDs, audio books, and other references, as well as subscriptions to major newspapers and magazines. In addition, the Library's online resources can be accessed at any time of the day by students via Internet access. E-books, journal articles, educational videos, and other resources can be accessed via the Web.
